I’m doing a 1st year science subject in my 5th year

because of some useless arbitrary rule for my degree. I asked for an exemption since I had much more interesting subjects I wanted to do (which were at 2nd and 3rd year levels) but apparently I needed “breadth”. Because doing an Arts/Science double degree is not already broad enough as it is.

So I chose a multi-disciplinary subject which covered some astronomy and geology which I’d never done before so I thought it would be somewhat bearable. Not so.

1) If I understand your lectures better by looking up the websites which you lifted images from because you apparently can’t explain simple concepts succinctly, I don’t need to pay several hundred dollars to do your subject.

2) If I understand your lectures better using Wikipedia because you throw around terminology that I’m just supposed to know, I don’t need to pay several hundred dollars to do your subject.

3) If I’m covering topics like cell theory (THIS IS AN ENZYME. PROTEINS ARE COOL! HEY, LET’S LOOK AT *D*N*A*!) which I did in high school, not to mention I’ve got a pharmacology major and I’ve done 3rd year microbiology, I DON’T NEED TO DO THIS FUCKING SUBJECT.

“Breadth” my ass. I could actually be challenging myself intellectually but I’m not. Fuck you.
